Ceylon Bros.

is an Amsterdam based fashion brand established in 2020. Inspired from the heritage in Ceylon, the founders aim to have an impact on the fashion industry and do something back to the community in developing countries.

Ever since, Ceylon Bros was created, their manufacturing have always been in the same country: CEYLON (Sri lanka).

In the clothing and fashion industry, the factory is often where all global economic dysfunction happens.

OUR PRODUCTS

At Ceylon Bros,

we create clothing that are produced in dignified conditions: excellent working conditions and fair wages, while diminishing the impact on our environment. As a fashion brand, we feel the responsibility of protecting human rights and guaranteeing health of the employees.

We have selected our parameters carefully to which our partners  comply:

–    Gender equality

–    Fair renumeration

–    NO child labour (only 18+)

–    Healthy and safe working environment

–    Reduction of impacts on waste

Wear-one-give-one

The founders of Ceylon Bros come from a country where children without proper clothes walk kilometres to school. NGOs report that many children wear very thin clothes. If they had clothes at all. Their poor performance in school is also due to lack of proper clothes. This harshness occurs in many countries around the globe.

Clothing is a fundamental human need. At Ceylon Bros. it is our mission to make an end to this harsh journey of life. 

For every Ceylon Bros. clothing product that you purchase, a t-shirt or hoodie is given away to a child in need.

We are aware of the risks of creating co-dependency on giving away aid or flooding a local market with our products thereby driving regional producers out of the business. That’s why our aid focuses solely on children and our fair and sustainable production cycle concentrates on partnerships with local producers in developing countries.

Social Employment

We focus on aid for children in need and job creation for parents in need. Our movement has a wishful side effect. We help preferably struggling people find employment. This will support opening doors and creating opportunities for employees that have experienced traumatizing hardships
